Artist Reception:
August 4th - 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Reena Tomar Statement
I believe in experimentation and innovation. I use expressive lines, forms, patterns and vibrant colors. Expressive lines are often rounded and follow unbound paths. I use many different mediums, such as ink, acrylics, and pastels. I believe that working in a single medium and theme are restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in it's own individual.
I paint emotions, whether it's human, animals, birds or nature. I feel art everywhere, as far as I go.
The paintings I create aim to portraying women to be strong and fearless and activates our inner heroines and encourages women to be bold and make a name for themselves.
I had my artwork displayed in a variety of venues including Art Pop Gallery in lake forest- Deer Path Art League, The Art Center Highland Park- "in view 2023, 24", Busey Bank and Glenview art league's juried art exhibition 2024, Wheaton Festival of Cultures Art exhibition and many more shows in USA and India. My interview along with artwork published in 123art magazine New York, abstract art club, Arthub and many more social media platforms.
Working as an Art Instructor and adventure campus counselor at Northbrook park district. Providing art lessons at my art studio by name of Yula Creative Club, Located at Buffalo Grove.
