ADULT PROGRAMMING
The NSYMCA has a variety of program initiatives geared toward adult interests and concerns. Under the direction of Adult Programming Coordinator Karen Brownlee, these programs will provide educational opportunities, social support, and wellness enhancement for adults and seniors on a broad community level.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION COMMITTEE
The North Suburban YMCA(NSYMCA) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is a small group of employees from all departments alongside board members with various perspectives committed to advancing, cultivating, and preserving a sense of culture, inclusion, and belonging by honoring stories, being present, and addressing issues that impact the deepest parts of our humanity.
YMCA EDUCATION SERIES
The YMCA EDUCATION SERIES (Y.E.S.), formerly the Adult Education Series, is a series of presentations offered by experts in their field who share their expertise regarding topics of interest to our community as free live programs which are also recorded as podcasts and made available on the NSYMCA YouTube Platform.
ADVENTURE GUIDES
NSYMCA Adventure Guides is a family program designed to strengthen the relationship between parent and child through a journey that occurs within the context of a small group community.
