Lead - Leigh Cohen
Leigh Cohen is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern University’s Center for Audiology and Speech Language Learning (NUCASLL). She specializes in acquired neurogenic disorders, including motor speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia. She is certified in LSVT Loud (pediatric and adult), SPEAK OUT! (Parkinson's Disease), and MBSImP (swallowing physiology and impairment). Leigh Cohen is committed to culturally responsive care, patient advocacy, and proactive health initiatives that serve the community.
Co-Lead - Dr. Liz Meyer Gardner
Dr. Liz Gardner Meyer is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern University’s Center for Audiology and Speech Language Learning (NUCASLL). She focuses on diagnosing and treating communication impairments related to hearing loss in adults. Dr. Gardner Meyer specializes in education on noise-induced hearing loss and tinnitus. She is interested in how the brain processes hearing and how we can inspire those with hearing impairments to continue doing activities they love.
