The North Suburban YMCA has a variety of program initiatives geared toward adult interests and concerns. Under the direction of Adult Programming Coordinator Karen Brownlee, these programs will provide educational opportunities, social support, and wellness enhancement for adults and seniors on a broad community level.

Adult Fitness
The Y offers a variety of Health and Fitness activities for adults ranging from Personal training, Group Exercise classes, Nutrition Consultation, Chronic Disease Prevention and more.

Adult Art
The Y offers Art classes to adults looking to learn a new skill or fine-tune their artistic skills. We offer Art classes like Watercolor, Knitting and many more!

Adult Aquatics
The YMCA has long been known as the gold standard for swim lessons. After all, the Y organized the very first group sim lessons in 1909. At the NSYMCA, we continue that tradition , offering swim lessons for individuals of all ages and abilities. For Adults, we offer Lap Swim, Private Swim Lessons, Water Fitness classes and more!
