  • DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONE’S LIFE?

Did you know that your local YMCA offers scholarship to deserving families in your communities?

Today 1 out of 5 participants at the North Suburban YMCA receive financial assistance. That financial assistance comes directly from people like you who believe in giving back and helping others. With the help of scholarship donations, our Y provides after-school care, special needs programming, youth sports, life-saving swim lessons, camp and other services to EVERYONE regardless of their ability to pay. We have helped more than 2800 famlies in 2018 alone and you can help us again in 2019.

This year our Y is celebrating its 50th Anniversary and we will be hosting a special 13th Annual Ken & Alta Thiel Strong Kids Fundrasing Event on April 12, 2019 at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling. We are expecting over 500 guests where our mission is to raise $250,000 in scholarship funds so that NO ONE gets turned away at our Y, today or in the future.

$25,000 - allows the Y to expand the 2 Seconds 2 Long Swim Safety Program into 20 more elementary schools, educating more than 6000 children through water safety assemblies and providing 2nd graders an opportunity to receive free swim lessons at the NSYMCA.

$10,000 - helps provide handicapped, accessible transportation for youth, adults, seniors and individuals with disabilities.

$5,000 - helps the Y expand our Diabetes Prevention Program, educating people in our community about diabetes prevention lifestyle.

$500 - gives 20 children an opportunity to participate in our S.T.E.A.M. Class (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math).

$1,000 - provides 10 children after school care for 2 weeks. NORTH SUBURBAN YMCA

  • HOW CAN YOU HELP?

We would be grateful if you would consider supporting our efforts by offering a sponsorship donation. With that donation, your business would be visable through social media, sponsorship signage at event, AD in event programs and much more.

The effects of the Y are far-reaching, but it begins with people like you who believe in what we do for our communities. Your consideration of a sponsorship donation would mean the world to us and it would help keep our communities strong!

    • Challenge a friend or colleague to match your pledge
    • Provide an in-kind gift or service
    • Inquire if your company matches charitable donations
