YOUTH FITNESS

Obesity is a rising epidemic in the U.S. Currently, over one third of the youth population is struggling with being overweight or obese. At the Y we are combatting this family.fwgrowing problem with classes that are designed to make fitness fun.

In Fit Happens classes, kids and teens learn about becoming and staying active in a positive and fun atmosphere. Participant will be encouraged to develop healthy habits that they can carry with them throughout their lives.

FAMILY FITNESS

Working on fitness as a family is a great way to set a positive example and stay motivated. Participation in YMCA fitness programs offer opportunities for friendship and community, a sense of well-being, self-confidence and improved mental abilities and cognition.
