Our experienced and well respected yoga

No matter your age or condition, you will experience the benefits of this class. It is excellent for those who find sitting unsupported on the floor challenging. Moving mindfully in supported sitting poses will increase flexibility, strength, circulation and focus. Chair yoga encourages body awareness and proper breathing.

Increase flexibility, strength and balance through fundamental poses, seated and standing while emphasizing the importance of breath and preparing for energetic flows of breath and movement. A way to manage and reduce stress and tension while building strength, flexibility, stamina and balance.

Features mindful breathing in coordination with movement to promote flexibility and a sense of general well-being. End your day feeling relaxed and renewed.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga I

Beginner

An introductory class that will introduce the fundamentals of postures and breath for the vinyasa (flow) form of yoga (moving from one posture to the next motivated by breath.)

Intermediate

Intermediate class for those students that would like to work deeper into a pose, using the vinyasa form movements and emphasizing the principles of mindfulness, building stamina with flowing moves.)

Advanced

Dynamic and physically demanding style of yoga that is energetic and healing as it flows from one pose to the next. Meditation experienced through movement which includes more challenging poses such as inversions and backbends.

Iyengar yoga is known for its attention to detail and precise focus on body alignment. BKS Iyengar, the founder of Iyengar yoga, pioneered the use of props to make the practice more accessible for all people. This method is designed to systematically cultivate strength, flexibility, stability, and awareness, and can be therapeutic for specific conditions. It can only be taught by certified Iyengar teachers, who must complete years of study and are rigorously tested on their practice and teaching skills.
