IMG 9263Dads and kids need time together. . .  sometimes just for themselves, sometimes with a group
of friends to share a common experience, to create memories that'll last a lifetime.

For over 50 years the YMCA's Indian Guides and Princesses, now called Adventure Guides, has been connecting kids and dads across the Northshore, and now it's back at North Suburban YMCA. We're excited to support active Guide families from Winnetka, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Glencoe, Evanston, Skokie and northern Chicago, as well as start new Circles in our local communities. We invite you to become part of this tradition.

For dads with children Grades 1st-4th, each event is managed by volunteer dads in coordination with the North Suburban YMCA team. You’ll pay a family fee which generally covers food, activities, and bunks.

You and your child choose how involved and active you want to be. No badges to earn, no projects to complete.

Be as active as you, your child and your fellow dads want to be – come to one event or come to them all, be a leader or be a participant, stay with a smaller group or jump into the crowd – it’s up to you.
