    1. Locate the Reservations Self-Scheduler below.
    2. Enter your first and last name as they appear on your Y Membership Account.
    3. Enter your Date of Birth.
    4. Enter your Email Address and Phone Number. Note: This is the email address that will receive your reservation confirmation.
    5. Click Find Me.
    6. Select the Reservation Date of your choice.
    7. Select your Appointment Type. (i.e. BODYPUMP, GRIT Cardio)
    8. Next to available time, click the dropdown menu and select the time of your choice.
    9. Click BOOK.
  • CODE OF CONDUCT

    In order to keep our members, our employees, and our community safe and healthy, please note the following:

    • Registration is required for all classes. Registration can be done on nsymca.org
    • Registration for classes open on Fridays at 5 pm and close 24-hours prior to class start.
    • Participants must be ACTIVE members of the North Suburban YMCA in order to participate.
    • Participants must be at least 12 years of age to participate in outdoor group fitness classes.
    • Water fountains will not be available for participant use. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a bottle of water filled from home.
    • Participants and instructors must wear masks and comply with social distancing guidelines prior to and after class. Participants will need to provide their own masks.
    • Participants will be asked to remain in their cars until the instructor releases them for class start.
    • Participants will be asked prior to class whether they are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. If participant does have symptoms, they should wait to visit the YMCA until they have had no fever for at least 72 hours, other symptoms have improved, and at least 10 days have passed since their first symptoms appeared.
    • Those arriving more than 10-minutes after the scheduled class start time will not be able to participate.
    • Participants will not be permitted to share equipment with other participants.
    • Participants will need to provide their own yoga/core mats for workout use.
    • Participants and instructors will be asked to wipe down their equipment prior to and after use with provided disinfecting wipes.
    • Participants will be asked to leave the class area promptly after cleaning their equipment to allow our staff to do additional deep cleaning and preparation for the next class.
    • Due to the nature of classes being outdoors, weather may lead to a class cancelation. Classes will NOT be held if there is thunder and lightning or if the heat index is over 100 degrees. Keeping our members and staff safe is our Number 1 priority. Class cancelations will be made at least 1-hour prior to the start of class.

  • Frequently Asked Questions

    When can I reserve a lane?

    You will be able to reserve a class 7 days in advance. Reservations are made on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.

    When I click FIND ME, nothing happens. What should I do?

    Clear your browsing history and then try again. If that does not work, please call for assistance with creating a reservation.

    Does the reservation system close at any particular time?

    Reservations will close one hour prior to start time. After this time, members will no longer be able to make reservations.

    What is the duration of each class reservation?

    Reservations will be for 45 minutes. At the end of your time slot, the instructors will clear the equipment to clean and sanitize before the next group arrives.

    How will I know if my spot is reserved?

    You will receive an e-mail confirming your reservation.

    Is there a limit as to how many reservations I can make for a day?

    We are limiting members to one type of class reservation per day. For example, you can reserve a 1 spot for BP and 1 spot for CXWORX. You can’t reserve two of the same type of class.

    Can I reserve spots for someone else (husband, friend, sibling, child, etc)?

    Each login has the capability to make only ONE reservation.

    What if I am having trouble reserving a class?

    Please call your branch for assistance with creating a reservation.

    What if I need to cancel my reservation?

    If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible to allow other members the opportunity to attend the class. To cancel a reservation, sign into our self-scheduler on the website, click on My Appointments and select Cancel next to the reservation you would like to cancel. You can only cancel online up to one hour prior to the start time. If it is within the hour, please call to cancel your spot.

    Is there a penalty for making a reservation and not showing up?

    We are hopeful that members will be respectful of the need to make reservations. However, should branches notice a member abusing the system, they may see the need to have a discussion with him or her. These incidences will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

    Does lap swim require a reservation?

    Yes, at this time, in order to lap swim you will be required to have a reservation.

    If there are lanes available but I don’t have a reservation for one, can I still attend?

    No! As we start back with Lap swimming, we will require that reservations be made for all lap swimming especially during Phase 3. No walk-ins will be allowed in order to maintain the directions that we are under. As we gain information on how well the system is working we will make modifications where necessary.

  • POOL CODE OF CONDUCT

    For now, Lap Swim will require reservations. Each session lasts 45 minutes so that lifeguards can clear the pool deck to clean and sanitize before the next session begins.

    In order to keep our members, our employees, and our community safe and healthy, please note the following:

    • Masks are required before and after swimming while in the building and locker rooms.
    • Lap swim is open to YMCA members 16 years and up who are capable of and continuously swim from one end of the pool to the other.
    • Please come dressed and ready to swim. Locker room usage will be limited to 15 minutes.
    • Lap lanes must be reserved in advance through the online Appointment King.
    • Reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance until 1 hour before desired reservation time.
    • Only one (1) 45-minute reservation per member will be allowed each day with a maximum of 3 reservations per week.
    • Please arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your 45-minute time block.
    • Swimmers are asked to swim over the black line to ensure social distancing in the water.
    • Lanes will be assigned by lifeguard on duty and cannot be requested on Appointment King.
    • NO EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED. Members should bring their own towels, filled water bottles and swim gear (kick boards, etc.) for their swim.
    • If you are unable to attend your reserved time slot, please be sure to cancel your reservation.
    • During Phase 3 no walk-ins lap swim will be available.

  • Locker Room Etiquette

    • Locker Rooms are for swim use only.
    • Please limit time in locker room to 15 minutes.
    • Please social distance while in shower area and wear a mask in the changing areas.
    • Cleaning wipes will be available in locker rooms for member use.
    • Locker rooms will be closed daily from 12-1pm for cleaning.
